Tapioca Chip

Tapioca chip is commonly used in various industries as animal feed, as well as for alcohol and ethanol production. Currently, Thailand exports more than 6 million tons of tapioca chips per year. The manufacturing process of tapioca chips involves cleaning the raw tapioca, cutting them into smaller pieces, and sun-drying them on a concrete floor for 2-3 days until they are completely dry. In general, exported tapioca chips will have no less than 65% of starch, no more than 5% of fibers, no more than 14% of humidity, and no more than 3% of sand.
