Sawatpaiboon Rice Mill Co., Ltd. and Sawatpaiboon Agriculture Co., Ltd. manufacture and export Thai rice and tapioca to the global market. The company was established in 1987 by Mr. Sawat Mungngam and Mr. Jumroon Mungngam. Initially, the business was registered under the trade name of “Sawat Service” with the main activity of purchasing agricultural products from farmers in Kamphaeng Phet Province, such as rice, tapioca, green bean, and corn, and distributing them to other factories in the country.

With a farsighted vision of the founders, the Company continued to grow incessantly, which led to the establishment of a tapioca chip factory that has one of the most advanced technologies in the country. The factory has adopted a conveyor system and an electric chipping machine in the process of tapioca processing prior to the drying process, in order to deliver clean and high quality tapioca chips of consistent size. The company subsequently changed its name to “Sawatpaiboon Agriculture Co., Ltd.”. Currently, the Company is the leading exporter of tapioca chips and is ranked as one of the ten companies in the country with the highest export volume.

In 2012, “Sawatpaiboon Rice Mill Co., Ltd.” was established with a factory that covers an area of over 500 rai, along with the manufacturing technology that is internationally accepted. In addition, the factory is located in a prime location with a high level of rice farming activity, which subsequently enables the Company to obtain raw materials and produce high quality rice to be exported to each region across the globe all-year-round.

The Company is committed to utilizing its accumulated experience to develop the manufacturing process and adopt modern technology simultaneously. Likewise, the Company emphasizes on studying the needs of consumers in order to enhance the quality of products, while develop new products to correspond to the current market trend continually.

STORY

1987

Sawat Service” was established, which engaged in the purchase of agricultural products from farmers in Kamphaeng Phet Province and distribution of such products to processing factories in the country.

2006

The business began to expand with the establishment of a tapioca chip factory at Pang Sila Thong District, Kamphaeng Phet Province; and the business was registered as a juristic person under the name of “Sawatpaiboon Agriculture Limited Partnership”.

2011

Sawatpaiboon Agriculture Limited Partnership started exporting tapioca chips from Thailand for the first time.

2012

The rice mill factory was established at Khlong Khlung District, Kamphaeng Phet Province, under the name of Sawatpaiboon Rice Mill Co., Ltd.

2013

With collaboration between Sawatpaiboon Rice Mill Co., Ltd and Thaisaree Rice Mill Limited Partnership, the second rice mill factory was established at Wat Bot District, Phitsanulok Province under the name of TSP Rice Mill Co., Ltd. In addition, another tapioca chip factory was established in the northern region at Mueang District, Tak Province, under the name of Sawatpaiboon Agriculture (2013) Limited Partnership, in order to support the rising demand of tapioca.

2015

Sawatpaiboon Rice Mill Co., Ltd. began to export rice from Thailand for the first time and established another factory at Bang Pahan District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, in order to provide convenience for water transportation of the products of both Sawatpaiboon Rice Mill Co., Ltd. and Sawatpaiboon Agriculture Limited Partnership.

2016

Sawatpaiboon Agriculture Limited Partnership was changed to “Sawatpaiboon Agriculture Co., Ltd.” with the registered capital of 240 million Baht.
